Victory Bible Academy is Christian Freedom International’s school for persecuted Christians.

It is strategically located in Thailand to train persecuted Karen and other Christian minorities from Burma.

Survivors to entrepreneurs

Students are refugees who have survived Burma’s decades-long conflict against ethnic-religious minorities. Most have lost family members and escaped from violent attacks.

The two-year program is designed to increase students’ knowledge of the Bible and develop skills to serve others and provide for their families. Students learn to study the Bible, lead worship and children’s programs, and train in practical skills for life in a jungle and a modern society.

Victory Bible Academy is whole-life immersion training. Students live at Victory with staff, whose families provide role models for healthy marriages and parenting.

As part of their entrepreneurship training, students learn to make t-shirts and colorful woven scarves, bags, and tunics. Their items are available to purchase through our online store.

“Victory is overwhelmingly ours through Christ.” Romans 8:37

A student at Victory Bible Academy wrote:

Burmese soldiers came to my village, burned all the houses and killed the villagers, so we had to flee in midnight and cross to Thailand for safety. We could not go back to our village because the Burmese soldiers leave landmines so it is very dangerous for us.

When we fled, I was terrified. We ran into the jungle, stayed two months in the jungle with no food and in the rain.

As a child, I prayed as I know God can help me. My purpose and aim is to be a missionary, evangelism and to take care of poor kids who need help and old people.

At Christian Freedom International we care about each one of those who are persecuted.

Our mission is to bring relief through practical support and prayer, and to advocate on behalf of the oppressed.
